The Sound Salon
Drum Recording Setup

The Drum set is a Yamaha Turbo Tour Custom with Zildjian Cymbals.  The set includes a choice of 8 different tom tom sizes (8", 10", 12", 13", 14", 15", 16", and 18").  Usually, I decide which size toms to use according to the needs/genre of the song, but the client can decide if he/she is very specific.  ALSO, you have a choice of 9 different snare drums.  Once again, I can decide which one to use, but in most cases, the client chooses the snare because it will have possibly the biggest impact on the song.  To hear the different snare drums click here.
We generally use 11 tracks and they are as follows. (I'll include the entire signal chain for you gear heads out there).
